Wilfredo D. Salvador, President/CEO of TERI, underwent training in repair and overhauling of  exhaust gas turbochargers at the BBC factory in Baden, Switzerland.  He also received practical training in turbocharger maintenance at the BBC turbocharger service station in Rotterdam.

We have been doing this critical repairs based on the procedure of Turbo Machinery Maintenance Congress in which we are a member and attended by first Maintenance Congress in London in 1985 and held year by the seminars in different places in the world to provide a forum for information exchange between people involved with the maintenance of complicated rotating equipment, like Gas turbine repairs, Steam turbine, Compressor, and maintenance of small expander, and exhaust Gas Turbocharger up to 90,000 R.P.M. They also provided us the procedure of repairs and the compatible welding materials to use in turbine repair. And also I was trained at the factory of ABB Baden, Switzerland for high speed rotors repair and maintenance procedure.

Aside from our experience we also have the complete equipment to repair complicated and high speed rotating rotors, like electric spray welding, TIG-welding, grit blasting machine and our IRD Electronic Balancing Machine, and with our track record and proper equipment we believe that we are qualified to do this kind of repair, as most expert say that even with complete equipment and experience in any rotating machinery, working without common sense in any repair is bound to fail.
